Two weeks left!!

How did this happen???

How have I been out here experiencing Ground Hog everyday for the last 8 weeks? I have fallen in love - you'll be happy to hear - about 100 times, with 100 different people. They all smile the same way, and have the same warm hearts and I am IN LOVE with these yogis, let me tell you. Everytime I think I have no more energy, and that my hamstrings are about to bust right out of my legs, I think about the people I've met here, and how we're all in this thing together - sweating our hearts out - trying to learn this dialogue with each other so that we can come home and teach. And that gets me out of bed every morning, even after 5 hours of sleep and a head cold.

I've heard from experts on the body - anatomy class. It was like college all over again. I even looked at Ashley's paper when I didn't know an answer - just to have a real flashback moment.
We've learned about the circulatory system, the muscles, tissues, bones, digestive system... you name it.

So what is it all about, really?
It's about stretching your spine. And the central nervous system is connected to the spine... so your emotional, mental and physical states are affected when the spine isn't regularly stretched.
Yoga is the only healing exercise there is. And it's the only one that gives you energy. And believe me, we've tested that theory. I'm drinking two cups of green tea a day, and about 6 liters of water a day. That's it. No booze, and very little sugar.

It's amazing... the changes my body has gone thru. Emotionally, physically and mentally.
It's 11:30 here and we just finished putting on our weekly masks - oatmeal, honey and plain yogurt. We had 8 people in our room, and two beautiful little girls, Ryan's girls, jumping on our beds. We were doing postures and saying dialogue and cracking our dried oatmeal masks on our faces.
So I will finish this up tomorrow. Love you all. yoga love. Jamie
